SAP Business One is a really user-friendly system. It’s why it’s one of the most popular ERP solutions on the market for SMEs. One of the reasons that users love working with the system is because it offers so much flexibility for the user. Almost everything within the application can be customised. Take a look at the videos below and see how you can change form settings in SAP Business One.

There is a lot of functionality within SAP Business One. Changing form settings allows you to select which type of modules you’d like included on your dashboard. As well as selecting which modules you’d like available, users can also drill down further into other menu options, which again can quickly be turned on or off by users.

It’s not just modules or menu items that can be selected by users. When working on tables within SAP, it’s really easy to customise which columns you’d like to see when entering data. This is really handy if you only enter data into certain fields or to prevent information being added into the wrong column.

TIP: Form settings are specific to each user. Once they have been configured and saved, these will be visible each time the user logs in to use SAP Business One.

How to change form settings in reports in SAP Business One

You don’t have to be a Crystal Report expert to get the information in your reports as you’d like them. By using form settings to customise reports, users can see which columns have already been included on the creation of the report, or any which haven’t been included. Fields which are already present can be removed allowing users to view information stored within reports quickly and easily.

TIP: Select the ‘Restore Default’ button if you want to view all of the fields that were included on the report query when it was originally created.
